C'mon over, Smile-Holland! We'll knock back a few beers from a couple of the best local breweries in the area, join the Occupy protestors in Berzerkeley,  and then bungie jump off the Golden Gate Bridge.  It's a blast, man!

I'll pay the first round of beer if you'll take the first jump then.  Grin

I'll most likely be going to that show if I can get the time off from work.

Every time that facebook flashes up that a new American date has been added I get a little more annoyed about the lack of information regarding UK dates.

Tickmaster has dropped the date from their website but it's still listed here (for the moment)

I'm still waiting for the Oregon show to go on sale but I fear that's another date that's going to be dropped.

We now have confirmation from Probyn that D'Amico and Walusko will be included on the tour. Yay! (That is one seriously big band, too ...)

Ok. I spoke to Ticketmaster and Harvey's about the Lake Tahoe show.

Ticketmaster had no idea.

But the Harvey's rep said that the Beach Boys were having a scheduling conflict so it looks like the date might change. I asked if there was a possibility that it could be cancelled and she said that she did not know and that the latest she heard was that they needed to move some dates around. She said that the best place to check for updates would be Ticketmaster. But from speaking with them earlier, their reps had no clue either.

This is curious because the Tahoe show is the last one scheduled in July.

Ticketmaster had no idea.

They almost never do.  They practically have the same information that's on their website...they are of no real help.

I've wondered if they're going to book them at the Red Sky Festival in Omaha, which is promoted by Live Nation like the Beach Boys apparently are.  It was rather lame last year so they need a major shot in the arm like the Boys. Of course it runs July 17-21 so that wouldn't explain the "conflict."

Thanks for the info Ivy. Guess I'll keep checking back w/Ticketmaster.

My big wish would be for them to play at Ironstone Winery in Murphys - An awesome place to catch a show.

Interesting Stones story and how they may tour next year. Food for thought given the BB's ages.

http://www.rollingstone.com/music/news/stones-5-th-anniversary-tour-pushed-back-to-2-aa3-20120314

"They don't want to do a full tour," he says. "They don't want to travel, and there are concerns about Keith's health." A more likely scenario would see the band camping out for multinight runs in arenas, similar to Prince's recent stands in New York and Los Angeles. "For example, they'd do 10 nights at MSG, 10 nights at Staples, 10 nights at London's O2 arena," the source adds.
