That just means that select concert-goers (usually ones with a password) have a chance to order tickets before the official sale date. There's nothing different about it apart from entering the password when requested.

I'm considering boycotting being British until the Beach Boys sort out this jolly old mess. Damn it, we used to own this US of A, so strictly speaking America's Band is OUR band and you've no right to a tour announcement in advance of us. So just jolly-well hand back your tickets and take your rightful place in the queue – behind us – chaps.

That's better…

BRITS BEWARE…

of ticket sites listing Guilfest over the weekend of July 13-15 on BBs lists.  Our Boys are in Tahoe CA/NV that night and Olly Murrs is the best Guilfest can do.

John, do you know how many times we've had to put up with Brian starting his tours in England?  The Smile tour comes immediately to mind. Payback's a b!tch, ain't it?  Grin

I, I love the colorful clothes she wears, and she's already working on my brain. I only looked in her eyes, but I picked up something I just can't explain. I, I bet I know what she’s like, and I can feel how right she’d be for me. It’s weird how she comes in so strong, and I wonder what she’s picking up from me. I hope it’s good, good, good, good vibrations, yeah!!

But that was OUR payback to YOU for Brian touring the US for three years without coming here!  That was supposed to make us even! Wink

I think I'm going to go Woodlands over Verizon Theatre.  Woodlands is in the summer and on a friday.  I'll be able to enjoy it more.

Calm down now, okay -  you know what they've fobbed us off with this week? A measly 5-track CD given away with this morning's Daily Mail, featuring five "new" Beach Boys tracks (if you count Do It Again, which is just a re-recording, and the live-at-the-Grammys version of Good Vibes, as if we needed another recording of Good Vibes … yawn already! ).  Why are we Brits treated so poorly?

The others (you're bound to ask… yawn already) are:

Shelter Skelter (something to do with a friend of Dennis)
The Private Life of Fred and Wilma
That's Why Dad Unplugged the Radio (Mt Vernon & Fairway Pt 7, apparently… yawn already[/1]

It;'s just not good enough…

John, you already forgot about that other Beach Boys/Brian giveaway from the Daily Mail - what was it back in '04? The one Brian got sued over? Good thing a nice guy in the UK mailed me one of those little collectibles, otherwise I woulda been SOL! See how well The Boys and Brian get treated in the U.K.? CD's even come in the daily newspaper over there. Now you say there's a second one??

Shiiiiii......uh, sheeesh!

I'm absolutely sure none of the Beach Boys themselves had the first clue about the partial announcements. And almost certainly no-one realised for a second that anyone would take it as a complete full list. Mistakes happen, and now we know that only the North American dates were meant to be announced today (which it does say on the press release on thebeachboys.com ) those of us who were panicking can calm down.

This new one was subtitled "Sue 'Em Again Volume 2"

Just pulling yer leg Mikie… though we've had more than one Live At Knebworth presentation free in the papers here, usually packaged with other band's material

Given the grasping nature of our tax officials, I think it's not surprising that no UK dates have been announced - this has been a problem for Mike & Bruce for the last few visits. I also think the tour will be more than 50, but less than 100. There's 48 we know of, three in Japan and surely some Oz gigs.

Chicagoans: anyone know of the "internet presale" that is now scheduled for this Friday morning?  The original sale day for tickets was Monday...it's been pulled earlier...

Hmm... that's not good. Sounds like I might have to brush up my Italian...

Only 1 Southern California date on this tour, but 6 in New York. Boo. I really hate the Hollywood Bowl Venue. I really can't believe there's not an Orange County or San Diego date. I'm not sure what I'm going to do now...

No Minnesota? Looks like I'll take a 6 hour or something drive to Milwaukee, WI. If I can afford it. Thanks, Beach Boys!
