That's Ron Swallow. He was Carl's best friend from Hawthorne High...he was also a driver, tour manager, and played percussion on many sessions for the BB's. Nice guy...he gave me a great interview for the upcoming Dave Marks book, including one incredible Dennis Wilson story, and an eyewitness account of David's parents and Murry engaging in a nasty "battle royale" in the Wilson's living room!!

Ron could almost be called the Beach Boys Tambourine specialist, I think he played Tambourine on at least 10-15 tracks through the Today, SDSN era.
