The red is kind of intense.  The text on the red is hard to read.  And some of the pictures don't come up.  (nitpicker, I know)

Based on my new webpage, the "ribbon of concrete" would be the winding roads through the hills that carried the cement for building the dam that would destroy the American Indian's sacred ground. Towns such as Crestline even rose up, in part, because of this cement business.
