I remember back in 2002 when the Flaming Lips were touring as Beck's backing band, Wayne would play the video of this interview he did with Brian for VH1 (I think). I always thought it was kinda funny and has some vintage Brian moments.

I remember that too but we walked in after the interview started and too many people were talking for us to really know what was being said. Thanks for this.

My two favorite people! O man this is great. Has anyone else been keeping up with the Lips stuff this year? Anyone else listen to the 6 hour song? Wayne and Steven have been nuts this year and I love it.

Halloween man. I expect a Smile sessiosn leak to pop up any minute now, so I have that, and the 24 Hour song, still taking in and loving the new Tom Waits album, Tonetta has a new record coming out or came out or osmething any minute now, and that's a double LP (I love Tonetta, you should google him but he's not for the faint of heart but I respect the heck out of him for being so ballsy and not giving a poop and just making his art), and man all this music pshed into this late october/early november bottleneck and it's been great but so much sh*t to get through!
