i managed to isolate the lead vocals, piano, organ, percussion, and guitar/backing vox + mixed it all in stereo for wild honey
not perfect though

I'm a new-ish Beach Boys fan (even though I've listened to them all my life!) and it seems like such a great time to be a part of it! Tours/SMiLE/possible re-unions - we're quite lucky! I'm not old enough to have seen the whole band live but hearing all these 'new' tracks and reading up about it all does make me feel part of the magic that is The Beach Boys.

Somebody really needs to do a needle drop of the complete Beach Boys catalogue, in all the various forms that they were released in(stereo, mono, duphonic(?)). Getting pristine condition original vinyl copies could prove rather costly though. I would never in a million years consider helping to bankroll such a dirty money grabbing scheme, mind.  |
