While this board was down, the Killer celebrated his 76th birthday on sept. 29th. Nobody would've thought that he'll pass even his 35th birthday so it's a miracle he's still alive and kickin'

Here's to one of the greatest musicians that ever walked this earth....

btw I wonder if his pth crossed with the Beach Boys at some point. I know he opened for them in '93 in Spain. Any other events? Dennis' "Got to know the woman" sounds 98% like Jerry Lee, including the laughing.

To sum it up, they blew it, they blew it consistently, they continue to blow it, it is tragic and this pathological problem caused The Beach Boys' greatest music to be so underrated by the general public.

Me and my friends did note the occasion when we were out with excessive booze, but none of us took the homage to the extent that we married our cousins. After all, it was only a quiet one  LOL

It was 1990. See here (in October): http://esquarterly.com/bellagio/gigs90.html

But also here: http://www.songkick.com/concerts/980825-beach-boys-at-estadio-carlos-tartier

And here: http://www.songkick.com/concerts/952217-beach-boys-at-rockodromo

Which doesn't seem to quite tally with what AGD says----but it's been a long day.  Grin

Happy Birthday Steve, hope you get some cool BBs stuff.

And production aside, I’d so much rather hear a 14 year old David Marks shred some guitar on Chug-a-lug than hear a 51 year old Mike Love sing about bangin some chick in a swimming pool.-rab2591
