Bering a Yorkshireman, I'm very proud to post this:

Greetings from Amazon.co.uk.
You saved £1.87 with Amazon.co.uk's Pre-order Price Guarantee!
The price of the item(s) decreased after you ordered them, and we gave you the lowest price.
The following title(s) decreased in price:
Postcard from California
                          Price on order date: £9.99
                    Price charged at dispatch: £8.12
Lowest price up to and including release date: £8.12
                                     Quantity: 1

                                Total Savings: £1.87
£1.87 is your total savings under our Pre-order Price Guarantee.

And given that the Amazon UK price is currently £19.49 (down from in excess of £20 already) it could be argued that I've saved more than £11.

What's been bugging me is that I wished I'd ordered a few hundred copies – I'd've saved a small fortune and could have afforded a holiday!

What's bugging me now is that the disc ain't here yet, so the Postcard From California Saga continues…

I'm glad I held off buying the CD-R so I didn't have to buy it twice. I ordered from Newbury Comics so I could get Al's autograph. Thanks Al. I like the album a lot. He should be proud. I hope it has strong sales.

Let`s not go to Camelot. It is a silly place.

Amazon tells me they've dispatched the album Smiley

Does this mean the saga's drawing to timely close, John?

Just arrived, just about to put it in the CD player (thought I'd pause and type this before I do, for some odd reason). Nice packaging Smiley

What do you do if it arrives, and it is instead "the loop de loop sessions"? 3D

And production aside, I’d so much rather hear a 14 year old David Marks shred some guitar on Chug-a-lug than hear a 51 year old Mike Love sing about bangin some chick in a swimming pool.-rab2591

From what I've heard only three copies of that have been found so far. They're equivalent to a Willy Wonka golden ticket and entitle you to a personal BBs concert in your living room.

Can't wait to find one then, I am excited about story time with Mike Love and the rarities concert in my house.

The final Chapter.

PFC landed on the doormat yesterday and I spent half the day wandering round the Dales with headphones on.

Still very impressed with this album, and some of the tracks I didn't take to quite so much on its original digital release sound much more lovable suddenly.

Gotta say, the download version of Wave of Love, with Carl's rough vocal, is a much more finished, better-realised song than the CD version.

California Dreaming is the perfect companion to Al's acoustic California Saga (released on the ESQ disc One In A Million) and is eons ahead of the recent Wilson/Fillets version.

Even the kiddies' version of Soop John B sounds good (but maybe that's cos of what's gone under the bridge since A Pirate's Tale came out, nappies & all!).

So it's here, I'm delighted, and I'll shut the F*c$ up now!

You are spot on here John, they go together beautifully and I may never have heard the acoustic California Saga if it weren't for a certain Wee helper  Smiley

So, John, you ordered this from Amazon US?

And by the way, if anyone didn't get his reference to being from Yorkshire, well, it's like Texas but without the electric chair.
