He's right about Pay Pal. I've had some bad deals with them, too.

just got a reply

Quote
There was a mix-up by our packing staff, and your record was
sent to another customer by mistake. We apologize for the error.

We have asked him to forward the record to you, and will let you know
when we receive his reply.

Would you be willing to forward the Dionne Warwick record to the
gentleman who ordered it? We will reimburse your shipping costs,
and for your trouble, we will also credit the cost of the "Pet Sounds..." LP
back to your credit card.

We are sorry for any inconvenience this has caused.

Regards,
orbit

Don't send it back to the guy. Be a rebel. Make some fun.

Yeah but at least you're giving that guy another post on his message board of choice. Think about it, he made his thread about recieving some stinkin' Pet Sounds instead of his beloved Dionne Wawick. You guys both have something in common in this world. Just so he doesn't take that pleasantry for granted, rip him off and be mean.

I'm just kidding, you know.

Paypal?

HA!

Those jerks don't protect you at all. They let people pick your pocket and then do nothing about it. Some guy vanished off the face of the Earth with my money last year, and they simply said there was nothing they could do.

Paypal is a piece of sh*t. Believe me.

Ha!  The CFO and Vice President of PayPal have two kids that go to my school.  The kids are great but the parents are jerks!

Last I heard there was a huge class-action lawsuit against PayPal.  Karma, bitches!

We bought a guitar on eBay, only to find it in much worse condition than the description and pictures advertised. We tried to get a return/refund through Paypal, and they found in favor of the other guy. We were supposed to submit a quote of how much the guitar would cost to fix from a dealer. Six minutes after we faxed the paperwork to Paypal mediation, they made their decision. It seemed to me that they already had made the decision before seeing the guitar dealer's report. I guess it's easier to leave the funds where they are and say the transaction went smoothly than to try to admit there was a problem, and try to compensate us by reversing the transaction...

Okay, I’ve gotten my mail fraud forms, copies of the cashed check, copies of all coorespondance…..I hope this scumbag goes to jail.

I managed to get his phone number and surprise! It’s disconnected. He’s on the run. You can’t mess with the United States Postal Service! You take my money and then stab me in the back? You’re going down, hombre!
