Hello, I thought I would reach out, and try something I haven't done before. Inquire about
finding an engineer to mix our new studio album. We do pay, but we don't pay a lot.

We cut on analogue two inch tape, and tracked four piece live cut ten tracks in two days.

We dumped it into protools, and are doing sparing overdubs in our free time. The album
is overdubbed , backround vocals, some keyboards, percussion or guitar, but we are
making a real effort, to keep it simple and to keep overdubs to a minimum.

I need somebody with good ears, who likes this type of "sixties music" who is technically
knowledgable about protools

The whole thing could be mixed in about a week, though I'd like to see a guy who might be willing
to spend  2-3 weeks on it, as I say, overdubs are fairly minimal and the songs tend to be rather short

Here is a link to the current album  that's available now  http://cdbaby.com/cd/cameronjeff

Here is a clip to some of the new tracks   http://www.zshare.net/audio/93818829f9e679af/

Hi there! I just stumbled upon this by chance but I honestly think I might be the guy for the job. Are the Pro Tools sessions already set up, or do you still need help bouncing from tape? I run a recording studio out of my basement in Brooklyn called Mama Coco's Funky Kitchen.
Here's an EP i recently produced: http://sonsofanillustriousfather.bandcamp.com/album/we-are-dead-and-reborn-ep
Here's my band which I do all the recording and engineering for also: http://ghostpal.bandcamp.com

Let me know if you're interested! My email is the3droogs@hotmail.com

Not currently using Pro Tools as I don't have a Mac, but do have a setup with Adobe Audition.

i used to use adobe audition for years and it's a decent program but pro tools is much more flexible...plus the plugins sound better. definitely worth the investment!

Thanks for the replies so far. I think nowadays, there are ways to make anything
compatible. I love the protools editing capabilities, but I wish People could
still mix onto a 1/4 inch digital tape.

Anyway, Its transferred already to protools from tape, and we are overdubbing
in Protools, the overdubs are rather sparing, a couple guitars or keyboards
on each song, a couple tracks of backround vocals, a tamborine or handclaps
and thats about it.

so we will be ready to go within a month or so. It would be quicker but, we only
overdub a few times a week as time permits.

Don't know why Zshare wont open

I am having trouble finding my mailbox to open it hear for messages. It says I have
messages but I cant open the mailbox!

I'll send Mr. Brooklyn a email from my yahoo

I might be able to help you out.  I'm producing the new Standells album, and I don't charge very much.  And I run ProTools.

Have a look at the promo video for my studio and see if it's what you're looking for:

Well I thought we had a guy I met on here, but he seems to be MIA, no explanation!
just poof!

I checked out your links, learned about your philosophy and heard some of your work
but no PHONE NUMBER! Yikes!

I emailed you with my number, so ya know,

You had a pretty wide array of credits, the majority seemed to be Beach Boy related
but there were other kinds of stuff in there also. I tried finding a number for the studio
but apparently it's unlisted.
