OK.....so....I was just listening to In My Room, the demo on Good Vibes 30 years of.  Does anyone know how far back from the released version that was recorded?  Or was it on the same day?  And does anyone agree with me that that sounds like Brian by himself the whole way through just ODing his voice?

Those are from the demo recordings Brian did when he was living in Bob Norberg's apartment. Little Deuce Coupe on the Hawthorne, CA set is another. Brian is, I believe, double-tracked. Bob Norberg plays guitar.

i like the rare version where they speak in tongues on the verses and then sing "god's a lie" in the chorus.

And I'm sure that is Barney Kessel playing the sacrificial knives on the intro, but it could just be an old harp
