I've killed probably 10 of these evil, foul smelling creatures in the last month or so. I hate them.

Consider yourself very lucky. The record for me was finding around 20 of them in my bedroom in one day last year...on average I would find 5 - 10 stink bugs in my house every day. (I learned to avoid this problem this year by properly installing insulation all around my bedroom window AC unit.)
Stink bugs around where I live are terrible...Actually, I just saw one crawling on my bedspread not but 30 minutes ago.
And I don't kill them, I release them back outside...partly because I am part hippie...mostly because they live up to their name and they wreak when you kill/annoy them lol

I think that perhaps it's time for you to move. I have this weird phobia/OCD thing with bugs. I have to kill them before I put them in the garbage. If I don't kill it, I constantly wonder if they could crawl out again. Of course, that would mean a little tiny bug opening the huge garbage lid. I know...I'm weird.

Haha I know where you're coming from...my job requires me to be outdoors most of the workday so bugs are a constant annoyance (I just get used to them) - but a house is supposed to be a sterile environment and I get fairly ticked off when I see a bug crawling along the floor or flying across a room...especially when I am eating.
Moving wasnt out of the picture last year lol...however I fixed the problem ...and that stink bug that was just in my bedroom is the first one i've seen in a month or two...thankfully.

Nope, I think I've jinxed you. I hope you don't feel any bugs crawling on your forehead tonight. On an unrelated note, what is your signature on here from?

If an insect lands on me I have to kill it. And I have every right to. If I landed on an animal roughly 6,000 times my size and started crawling all over it, especially it's face I'd expect it to squish me too.

We don't get stink bugs in Blighty thankfully, what do they smell like?

I don't recall seeing any stinkbugs around here either. Lots of aphids all over my tomato plants though.

Probably because you've already been blighted.

Stink bugs have a unique smell of their own, just like skunks. Be thankful you have never encountered it.
