Keith Moon subbing for Dennis? That would have been VERY cool.

I didn't even know he drummed for them a couple of times in the first place!

He guested on some encores but never subbed for full shows. But he was a massive fan to the end. He guested again at the Crystal Palace show in 72-in an interview I did with Dennis Dragon-included in my book-he mentions that as his favorite moment from his time with the BBs

To sum it up, they blew it, they blew it consistently, they continue to blow it, it is tragic and this pathological problem caused The Beach Boys' greatest music to be so underrated by the general public.

Thought it would be easy to find one of those old ads for 50 ft/100ft film reels by stars, but I guess not. In the meantime, I found some magazine pages I don't think have been posted here.

My remaining issues of Hit Parader; Late 60's/ 70's the BBs didn't seem to rank as much attenttion.
Showing front covers and the BBs Content pages. apologies in advance for any of these which Steve Mayo might have already posted.

That 80s Brian interview is a perfect illustration of how difficult it is to interview him. Notice that he wants to give one sentence answers to everything but the interviewer keeps pushing and eventually rewarded with some very verbose albeit unorthodox chat with brian

Love the caption on page 50, "Dennis and a friend...". Can't believe they didn't do their research very well. Poor Bruce!

Great stuff there! Thanks for posting!
This I found in a magazine (it is called "magascene") that lists upcoming events in and around Hannover, Germany.
And in the magazine is a review for L&M:

This article is well known, but I don't think I've seen the whole thing yet, or I just don't remember.

1983? Really? Why are they naming "In Concert" their latest album?
EDIT:
Ah, you meant the post before that. I didn't realize that at first.
