hey guys
frequent reader of this site, haven't posted much in a while since i sort of prefer to sit back and let the experts go at it. (i'm on clean up duty for loose info)

anyway i just recorded and posted this cover of the surf's up classic at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_eNf7glRm2M
i kinda messed up some of the lyrics in the second verse and it's really impromptu but i hope you dig it

Love it! One of my favorite BW songs.

Also, good 'Daily Planet' cover! It nearly mirrors the actual song.

God must’ve smiled the day Brian Wilson was born!

"ragegasm" - /rāj • ga-zəm/ : a logical mental response produced when your favorite band becomes remotely associated with the bro-country genre.

Ever want to hear some Beach Boys songs mashed up together like The Beatles' 'LOVE' album? Check out my mix!

Not bad at all...

Get rid of the Mao poster though! You do realize how many millions of people died because of his regime?

Of course. That's my parent's house though. They studied in China and I spent most of my childhood in Hong Kong and Beijing. I've taken issue with their collecting of communist propaganda over the years, but as journalists they're definitely well enough informed to know what they're doing...it does offend people sometimes and I have mixed feelings about it, but I guess having lived there for so long and been immersed in that culture, with those posters everywhere, it's become a fascination for them.

Thanks for the kind words everyone too
