I know someone who looks a lot like Gary Sinese. He's been in about a billion films hasn't he? (Gary S, not my friend).

I'm just two away from Adolf Hitler!  Shocked  And a friend of mine's just one away - he shook the hand of someone who shook Hitler's hand when she was a child.

Did your friend know my mom?!

In all truth, when seven years old, she and her family were at the 1936 Olympics seated  not very far away from Hitler: diplomatic junket kind of deal, and they all got formally introduced. There were even early color home movies taken.

AND I've got a photo over my sofa of the self-same late Mom smilingly shaking hands with an athletic-looking Pope John Paul II ! ( She'd delivered a talk at a Vatican conference).

Same Mom who made ME shake hands with John Cage when he bopped by to say hello after a bizarre performance piece, his other hand on her shoulder...

Thus in that very moment of group grope the three of us were all bonded to each other and to the Pope and Hitler simultaneously, and Yoko Ono too, and thus the Beatles and pretty much all of 20th c. history, a strange current passing amongst us!

I'll have to ask him but it was somebody he met in hospital in UK.  I think she was one of those little kids who presented Adolf with flowers or whatever at a big public event.

Talked to Matt Dillon once who was in Wild Things with KB.

Also friends with Isabel Lorca who was the fantasy girl in She's Having a Baby.

Too easy if you live in LA.
