There are some interesting parallels there:

Rasputin: Serial buggerer
Manson: Serial buggeree

Rasputin: got on everyone's nerves, was eventually ordered stabbed by committee
Manson:  got on everyone's nerves, eventually ordered everyone else stabbed by committee

Rasputin: Mad Monk
Manson: Mad Monkees auditioner*

* (I know, not really, he was still in prison; just printing the legend here).

"Matters evened out somewhat when Bruce Johnston fought Joplin to a standstill..."

I don't know why, but I laughed out loud when I got to this part.

Well, I'm glad it finally got a laugh...seven friggin' months later!

You people just don't realize how I suffer for my art.

I like Montez beating up Charlie at Chasen's, followed by the painful retaliatory wedgie
administered by Squeaky Fromme, again at Barney's Beanery.

Also, that Bruce fought Janis to a standstill (hilarious image) because of (as usual) provocative
remarks she had allegedly made about his shorts! LOL

Boney M? I had a gut feeling that this Manson thread would eventually contain things of an appalling and terrifying quality... but not THAT appalling...  Cheesy

True lyrics, I kid you not. Imagine with it: three winsome Jamaican ladies, and one Afro-bedecked skinny man dancing like a derwish. We in Europe were terrorized with this 'art' for around two decades. 'Ma Baker', 'Rivers Of Babylon', 'Daddy Cool'... the list is endless. And mortifying.
