Anyone have preferences or prejudices on sound with
the previous remastered, the DCC Gold Disc, and the 2007 remastered versions?

I have all the versions of Pet Sounds on cd and the best version is the DCC. The 40th Anniversary mono mix sounds better than the 1996/1999 mono mix, but still sounds processed and like its coming out of a tin can. The warmth ain't there.

I didn't know where to post this....
Rear Admiral George Morrison passed away on November 17, 2008; he was 89 years old. His wife, Clara, died on December 29, 2005; she was 86.
They were Jim Morrison's parents. I still wonder if he wouldn't have sampled Pam's stash on that fateful night on July 3, 1971....This is the end.

I'm a huge Doors fan. Have been since I was about 10 (1994). Along with the Beach Boys, they are an obsession of mine. I need to track down this and watch it...I don't have VH1 or VH1 Classic, so I never even realized it was out there.
Sad to hear about the passing of Jim's father....although he certainly did get to live a long life.
