"In this wide-ranging interview The Beach Boys' Bruce Johnston looks back at the band's golden sixties period and the music that built their success. Bruce talks about the changing Californian music scene across the decade, the growth of Brian Wilson as a songwriter & producer, the triumph of Pet Sounds and the disappointment of the abortive SMiLE project. He reflects on The Beach Boys' story and output, as well as the challenging climate of the late Sixties as the group's hits began to dry up."Part 1 of 18:

ok, just finished watching. The interview is 1h15mins long with Bruce talking about his pre-BB days and the BB until the Friends album. Seems to have been recorded in 2011 or earlier, before the reunion was announced.
No new info but very cool nevertheless. Wish they had discussed the 70's and 80's as well. Would love to see the same with Al.
