Alan,

Awhile back you posted that "Mexico" was intended as a "trilogy", and that the first part appears on the new album.  Was this the track recorded 10/24/77 (the date given on Dan Addington's website)?

You also indicated that another part which is on the same tape as "Baby Blue", appears to have been used as the track for the second version of "Time For Bed" (it incorporates the modulations from "San Miguel"...was this the version from Cherokee Studios 9/28/78)?

The "third" part of this trilogy, you wrote, was a slowed down bluesy version of the the same progression...would this be the only included as "Time Ford Bed" on the new "Bambu" release?  Was it the one recorded as "Mexico" on 5/1/78?

Also...was there a date on the "Wild Situation" tape?

And what about "Love Surrounds Me"?  Some of the dates I've seen for that one seem to correspond this those for a track cut under the title "Let Me Out Of Here"...are they one and the same?

Just trying to get some dates straight for the Bambu sessions essay I'm preparing for the website.

I'm sure Alan can clear up some of the Mexico chronology...but I can tell you that "God Let Me Out Of Here" is its own track, no vocals on that one...and it was recorded around the L.A. Light period.

God Get Me Out Of Here is a great title.

For some reason, I feel the desire to listen to Elton's "Song For Guy" after "Mexico".
