Anyone have any clue as to what the tracks are? Do we know if the tapes survive? Has Alan said anything about them?

"Good News" MAY bethe gospel song that Brian has some friends sing on the "garage tapes" from Sea of Tunes new "In the Beginning."   Same title anyway, and it would be like Brian to dig up some old a capella vocal number to do on Smiley - it would fit the production vibe if not the stoned lyrical content.  But then again it may be a coincidence.

Good Time Mama sounds like it may have become part of She's Goin' Bald, if the recording dates match (i.e. Good Time Mama before She's Goin' Bald).

All speculation of course.

Thanks Alan.  It seems of the unreleased stuff, as much stuff is missing as is still in the Beach Boys possession.  Is the "In the Midnight Hour/Holidays" tape still in the vault?

As Andrew pointed out, "Hawaiian Song" is the tracking session for a section of "Little Pad."

As far as "Untitled Song" is concerned, there are a lot of THOSE in the vaults....

Maybe you could compile a CD release of all the untitled songs, and then we could name them ourselves?
