Hey All.  I am new here, but longtime fan!

I went to the San Diego Zoo yesterday for an anthropology project on primates - coincidently also the album cover location for Pet Sounds back in 1966. So, i had to stop by!!!

The Beach Boys visited the Children's petting zoo back in February 1966.     I used THIS website as a reference and studying while i was at the location. I got pretty close to where the actual band stood back in 1966.  Check it out!

of one on my most iconic pictures ever! a nice bronzed plaque of the album cover in that spot.

And production aside, I’d so much rather hear a 14 year old David Marks shred some guitar on Chug-a-lug than hear a 51 year old Mike Love sing about bangin some chick in a swimming pool.-rab2591

Very cool! I wonder if any of those goats are decendents of the ones on the Pet Sounds cover!
