I know its a common one that The Beach Boys were just a surf/fun in the sun band, but I found this passage unbelievably laughable:  "but it was 'Pet Sounds,' the penultimate Beach Boys record, which came to be considered as the iconic collection of surf songs."

Especially considering the source.. http://www.surfertoday.com/surfing/5329-the-best-surf-music-bands-ever

Brian: *laughs loudly* Hahaha, yeah sure!  Yeah, a co-write.

Mike: I'll just write my name right at the top here then...

Brian: WHOA, no no no.  You're serious?  You want a co-writing credit for that? 

Mike: Well, why not?

*awkward silence*

Brian: I'd like the pad of paper back now, Mike.  I'm really busy right now.

Mike: Can I keep the pen?
