If it's "All This Is That" you're talking about - don't give up - it'll sound great, and that's mostly your doing. These things happen to everyone. I've lost entire chord structures of songs I've "written", never to be found again.  LOL

Sorry to hear that! Anymore, without even thinking, I press Command-S constantly (probably every 5 minutes) just to ensure I don't lose my progress in any file I'm working on. Years of dealing with shitty Windows computers taught me this haha.

In the off chance that this happens to me, I just look at it as a blessing in disguise: I walk away from the project for a day, go back and mix it with fresh ears, perhaps it'll make for a better mix.
