What do you mean 'Songs Covered'? By another artist?
Or are you mentioning proposed songs from that 1969/1970 era of the Fading Rock Group Revival/"Landlocked"/Sun Flower album?
Or Are you asking something else?

Well, he doesn't come across mean spirited or ill-willing, just a bit limited in his ability to communicate, for some unknown reason. He's no Phil Cohen or OSD. We
can
help him, while PC and OSD would need specialists.

Surfer is getting into the REVERBERATION/SUNFLOWER era I gather. Those two years (1969-70) were quite productive as every bandmember was producing good material, although Carl's songwriting breakthrough was still just a bit further down the road.
If you ask me - not that anyone did - Al got screwed somewhat on the finished SUNFLOWER with his take on "Cotton Fields" (except in the UK) and "Susie Cincinnati" missing the boat. Instead, we got three Bruce leads and some material that verged on the sticky-sweet on side 2.
But in any event, the FADING ROCK GROUP REVIVAL/REVERBERATION business got absorbed into SUNFLOWER for the greater good. Why give Capitol some good new songs when you're trying to get it together for a new label?
