So I've listened to the backing track of "Caroline No" on the PS box set enough that it's given me this big urge to buy a harpsichord.

Alas, it's pretty much impossible to get a harpsichord under $1000 (or even $1200) unless you want to buy a make-it-yourself kit, which I don't want to do. And anyway, I've just got a smallish townhouse and a harpsichord wouldn't fit in it anyway.

So the alternative is to find a good keyboard that makes the best harpsichord effect, with a budget of about $400 max. It's been about 15 years since I owned my last keyboard (which was a vintage 80's thing) so I'm probably due for a new one anyway.

Anyone have any recommendations? Having not had a keyboard in a while, I'm pretty much out of the loop on the latest trends and features for these things.
