finally just ordered a copy of The Real Beach Boy for around 11 dollars. i'm not complaining, but does anyone know why the price has dropped so much?

The copy you have has been out of print for quite a few years. It was first published in 2000. Jon's releasing the new version soon:

Funny I just saw this thread.  About a month ago, I ended up ordering a copy used from Amazon for about $30.  I was stoked because I hadn't seen one for less than $60-$70 in a long time, and I've waited years to get a copy so I finally bit the bullet.  Of course, about two days later I see copies going for $10.  Computer Smash! Oh well, it was well worth the money and I'm really looking forward to the updated edition.

Am doing, it will be my second book by Mr. Stebbins and one I have been wanting to read for a long time. And I want the new concert book as well.
