Mike's new Smiley Single!

I decided to have some fun this time and work more on the emotion and mix, I recorded it all analogue, with my new mic, no line in was used, and all effects are post production. 

It's a short opera of sorts, about a jungle-ized NYC, and running away with your love, to the sea!

BE WARNED, I recorded this VERY primitively, for obvious stylistic reasons, it's a bit like Smiley Smile, I think you'll appreciate it!

Groovy with a capital G. By "analogue", you're saying you recorded direct to tape as opposed to digital? I respect that!

Yup, a tape deck, then lined that to digital, like a needledrop style.

I love this!   Bought it & it's going straight onto the ipod. Very catchy song Mike - I definately pick up a stoned Smiley Smile vibe on this. By the way, the new mic really improves your vocal sound.
