I never saw that original thread because I wasn't reading the board then, but I really don't understand why a person would want to find their roots related to a rock star by hanging out on a message board posted on by fans.  That's just asking for trouble.  I have to suppose she wasn't too savvy about such things.   Good for her for finally figuring that out.  It also is too bad she couldn't turn to her mother instead of something like that.  I would wish for such a girl that her relationship with her mom is good or improved more than I'd wish for her to be in touch with the Wilson family.  Her mom and her mom's relatives and the relatives of the dad who raised her are the most important.  It seems like situations like that, it's  bonus if the biological dad and his family accepts you.  Good luck to the lady in finding happiness.
