Simple question here for the hardcores....

What were all the tracks that focused specifically on the Flame members?  I can think of "Here She Comes", "Hold On Dear Brother", "We Got Love", "Leaving This Town", and the fantastic "Hard Times" - not to mention, Blondie singing lead on "Sail On Sailor."  Is there anything else they did for the Beach Boys??

Funky Pretty and He Come Down feature Blondie quite prominently as do the unreleased songs It's A New Day and Carry Me Home which were written by Dennis. Would really like the two aforementioned songs plus Hard Times and We Got Love to feature on a new rarities collection but I don't think it will happen as Blondie doesn't appear to have a very good relationship with the surviving Beach Boys which is a real shame.

Oh, and it's Ricky, not Rikki.

Agreed re It's A New Day and, in particular, Carry Me Home. Further to the recent Wouldnt It Be Nice To Live Again thread, yet more shamefully neglected Dennis gems more than worthy of release.

Add Behold the Night to the list of most-wanted Dennis tracks. I've heard that that one is excellent.

I think Carl was the uniting member. He and Dennis I think had good relations with Blondie/Ricky, Mike and Al were slightly distanced but professional in their relationship. Brian was in bed.

Dennis used Blondie and Ricky on some of his solo sessions in 1971-72. And, of course, he had Blondie sing It's a New Day and part of Carry Me Home. No one really talks much about Michael and Al's feelings on them, though. Ricky has mentioned in the past that Brian was at least aware of their presence.

Dennis used Blondie and Ricky on some of his solo sessions in 1971-72.

...and afterwards too -- Ricky's on three tracks for Pacific Ocean Blue, isn't he?  (Though they probably started life as Beach Boys sessions...)

Well, I know Mr. Fataar mainly from the Rutles - where his name was never spelled as anything BUT "Rikki Fataar."
