He's saying that the Red Hot Chili Peppers sound like the funk stylings of George Clinton mixed with the pop sensibilities of Brian Wilson and The Beach Boys. Not a super difficult concept.

Yes, I remembered. But seeing as, to me, he was the leader of a foreign country some years ago, it was an easy mistake to make.

Just couldn't get my head around it. Why would Brian Wilson have a child with some old president, a child that sounded like the Chilli Peppers?
