1) Plymouth Rock section of DYLW
2) The closing section of Cabin Essence
3) CIFOTM: intro, leading into the vocal, and the Middle 8 (mixed in with another guitar?)
4) DYLW again starting at 2:17
5) Fire (obviously)

Naw! It's that cool riff late in Wind Chimes--the one that sounds like a variation on the GV riff. I loooooove that bit!

I really enjoy the one in Dada as well.

Mark-pull the first part of the song off comp real P0216643 and back to P0189510 for the chorus. Wait, sorry, it's on the second half of the 'our prayer' reel, P026636, 22 minutes in.  Tracks 2,4 and 5, see?  Wow, this is tiring work...

- Wind Chimes groovy ending part.
- Fire heavy double bass things.
- Brian's piano playing in Da Da (fender rhodes) and Cool Cool Water (version 1). He's so in love with his chromatic basslines. It's kinda cute.
- Bicycle Rider fuzz bass. Kicks ass!
- Good Vibrations (inspiration). That fuzz bass line is awesome.
- Child (version 1). Wow

Smile is really a very bass heavy record. I would've never thought that just by listening to old bootlegs and BWPS (where they decided to not give a sh*t about the bass sound)

Immediately what I thought of, although obviously there are several other examples.

The punchy little slapback- riff being played high up the neck on the Vegetables fade has always stuck with me.

Don't forget about the ascending/descending bass part during the chorus of "Heroes & Villains". When I heard that for the first time on the GV Box Set, I thought "why isn't this part on the finished track?!" - eventually it was.

'I'm In Great Shape' - I had my subwoofer at full blast and wasn't expecting an onslaught of bass from this song - it just comes out of nowhere...It's actually a pretty catchy riff too.
