I remember that in one of the talking head docs about the Beach Boys, Bruce made a comment about Pet Sounds being Brian's peak, and Sunflower being the group's peak. Was it in the Endless Harmony DVD? I'm having trouble locating this. Can anyone help me out?

I saved Endless Harmony on my DVR and watched it a few days ago and no, that isnt mentioned. Unless they cut stuff out on the TV version. He does talk about how its his favorite album because it reminds him of the times, and the great engineer Steve Desper doin it with them. I'd like to find the interview where he's asked what the deal is with those shorts.

I definitely remember him talking about Pet Sounds and Sunflower in the same interview. Were there scenes in the broadcast version of Endless Harmony that were cut from the DVD?

You know, the more I think of it, maybe it was a Timothy White quote involving Pet Sounds and Sunflower. Were there Timothy White soundbites in the broadcast version that were excised from the DVD version?
