I can't find any.  When I bought the Kindle I had hoped to catch up on my BB related reading but can find little else besides what I have read such as Peter Carlin or WIBN from the Landy days.

Jon,  would you have any input on your books being featured on Kindle?

And for the rest of the posters, do you have any suggestions for a good read on Kindle....not necessarily music bios but anything of interest i might want to check out?

I'm not sure if they take any notice of it but there is a button to click on Amazon for each book where you can let them know you'd like to read it on Kindle. I'll click on Jon's books to say i'd like them on Kindle too  Smiley

I am also dying for more beach boys related stuff (especially The Real Beach Boy) for my Kindle. There is not much out there.  Not sure if the American Amazon has the "I would like to read this on my kindle" button... the UK site does and I've used it a few times.

Dammit Donald, could you put a question mark at the end of the thread title as at the moment it kinda leads you to think that Jon's books are available on Kindle!  Smiley

As for Beach Boys stuff on Kindle I would love for Andrew to release a revised edition of The Complete Guide due to the amount of stuff that has come out since the last edition, I'm especially interested in reading Andrew's review of GIOMH!

Sorry about that thread title.  It DOES look like an advertisement for Stebbins books on kindle.

It is changed.

So, I take it that Jon  hasn't seen this thread or doesn't have an answer right now.  I'm not sure how the publishing business works but I assume that writers are getting increasingly more royalties through electronic media than ever.

I read recently that sales of music in non cd format has exceeded or equalled cd sales.  Gotta think that books willl go that way at tleat to some extent.

here is what jon said back in september...

"I would expect the publisher will make a Kindle friendly digital download version available, but as you said that's beyond my control. I am working on a new edition of the Dennis Wilson - The Real Beach Boy  book (slowly but surely) and we are definitely making that available in Kindle and all digital formats once its ready to go."

The hope for my book 50 Sides of The Beach Boys is that when you buy a hard copy, you will get a digital version free. Now, I don't know at this point which booksellers in which countries would offer this, and which e-readers would be included, but once I have more info I will let you guys know. And all of Jon's books should be available in digital format!!
