Guys, take a listen to JMZ's SMiLE Mix, after the normal coda of Surf's Up ends, we hear a less-overdubbed version with high "Father Of The Man" vocals.

Was this the intended version? Does anyone know anything about this?
Will TSS feature this in some way?

The JMZ mix used the "Get The Boot" vocals-only version of Surf's Up to enhance the tag.  This is Track 21 on Volume 1 and has the vocals of the whole 1971 version with no fade out.  The Smile Sessions has used these multitracks to remix the tag for the CD1 version but the full track is not there, maybe because it was mostly recorded in 1971.

I love the JMZ version of Good Vibrations - maybe better than any official release I've ever head.  It's the "kitchen sink" of Good Vibrations.

Pretty sure those "Surf's Up" vocals could easily be gotten off the Endless Harmony DVD 5.1 mixes; those are quite cool....

If you like the JMZ mix, you're going to love what they did with the Surf's Up tag on The Smile Sessions.  Wait and see...

My set won't ship out until between November 4th and November 8th. How the hell am I going to be able to stay off this board until then? lol

That JMZ SMiLE mix is top notch.  The consistency of the audio and sequencing put it in the higher echelon of SMiLE mixes....
