Wow...I remember the tickets for the BWPS show I went to in 2004 was more like $45-$50.

Quite tempting - it's the closest he's been to me in awhile (I'm in upstate NY).  A bit pricey for sure, but if anyone is worth paying that much to see, it's Brian.

Understand it's not as much to do with Brian as it is the state of commercial music ticket sales in general, but that ticket price is inflated beyond belief, unless he'll be performing with a full orchestra those nights.

By the time the free tickets and guestlist tickets are handed out to radio stations, sponsors, benefactors, friends-and-family, Blue Note employees, etc, it's a moot point how many people are willing to pay. That's why I think the price is too high - the people actually buying the tickets for a show like this are most likely Brian's actual fans instead of the guestlist folks. I could be wrong.
