Try getting the basics down by listening to it then simply wing it, this technique works for a lot of guitar solos!

Yes... right now I'm using the technique fake it till i make it! But the album version is so filled with "hey now, hey now" that I get lost...

It's basically blues soloing in Eb. It is obscured in the mix, true, but the soloing isn't very complicated. Just let rip!

Progress so far!

I pulled out the SOT vol 20 box...
featured is a backing track only version! With the solo clearly audible in the mix!

I cut out the solo and looped it Smiley

So now... "Its just a matter of time"

I tab freehand with pen and paper rather than typing all those numbers onto lines...it's faster and better for my nerves! Here is the tab for the Do It Again guitar solo, I think it's set up so you can enlarge it or print it out and it will be a normal size.

Any questions on fingering or phrasing, let me know!
