I'm looking for a BBs sticker to slap on my steel guitar. Anyone know what's out there?

Was there a sticker included in the GV box set? I bought mine used, but it seems like I saw/heard about a decal being in there.

Yes there was - it was the same surfboard logo seen on the box cover.

At least it was included in some boxes, like the 6th CD. I bought mine new and there was no sticker or 6th CD...

There's an "I'd Rather Be at a Beach Boys Concert" sticker on eBay, but that might not look "right". Cheesy

I was unaware of a box with a 6th cd or a sticker.

What was on the 6th cd?

Another point;  why are BB stickers or bumper stickers so hard to find.....or seemingly nonexistant?  I would have them on my car and garage door if I could find them.  And I imagine thousands of other peopele would want them too.  Beach Boy merchandising , in my opinion, has been very minimal given the band's iconic status.

I have a silver anniversary bumper sticker that was put out by the old fan club BBFUN, but that is kept with my collection of Beach Boy concert programs and other memorabilia.

How about a nice selection of BeachBoy bumper stickers and suitcase/guitar case stickers for sale on the band website?  Why not?   Don't they need the money?   I would like a nice bumper sticker of the Chicagoesque BeachBoys logo, perhaps with a small picture from one of the early 80's t shirt designs.   That would satisfy.

Who, in BeachBoys authority, could we appeal to?

My understanding was the "6th CD" was only issued in Europe and contained five or six songs that were hits there - "Lady Lynda", "Tears In The Morning", etc.

I bought the GV Box the day it was released in the U.S. - four CDs proper, a 5th bonus disc of session highlights (the backing track to "Cabin Essence" is the coolest thing ever), a booklet, a decal and a questionaire postcard.

Be nice if someone re-issued those "I Brake for Brian WIlson" bumper stickers that once existed -  was it in the '70s? - in CA. I'd buy one!

There are web sites (for instance cafepress.com) where you can create and sell bumper stickers and other items. Little reason not to have exactly the BB sticker you want, short of copyrighted logos.

Im' thinking either
1) they don't have the interest in obtaininng licensing, since they don't create the content
or
2) they don't want to be sued by copyright holders for selling unlicensed copyrighted/trademarked materials

Every time someone buys a Beach Boys t-shirt they give the Lovester a reason to wear more embarrassing Beach Boys hats and other headwear. Smiley

so far this is all I've really found:

Beach Boys Historic Landmark Merch

stickers, hats, t-shirts and more... all benefitting the Hawthorne Parks and Recreation service.
no longer available on eBay, but you can email Harry Jarnagan at: bblandmarkchair@yahoo.com
to place an order.

If you can't get a customizer to agree to duplicate protected images, you can try doing it yourself.  Avery has a lot of different products you can use with an inkjet printer, including stickers, magnets, and t-shirt transfers.  You can find them at office supply stores.

I can, perhaps, help out anyone looking for a Brian, Dennis or Heroes & Villains t-shirt.  If interested you can contact me at glarson432@aol.com.

Thanks.
