Curious to know how many people have ever either been inspired by a BB song lyric topic to actually do the action that the song is lyrically about... Examples: - listening to surfing songs by The BBs with a waterproof Walkman while surfing - listening to Going to the Beach while on route to the actual beach - changing a baby's diaper while listening to I Wanna Pick You Up - doing the deed while listening to the fadeout of All I Want to Do - getting an enema while listening to H.E.L.P. is on the Way For me, I get lots of joy just listening to BB songs while sitting on the sand at the beach, although I don't actually surf

And production aside, I’d so much rather hear a 14 year old David Marks shred some guitar on Chug-a-lug than hear a 51 year old Mike Love sing about bangin some chick in a swimming pool.-rab2591

I've listened to Smiley Smile while being in the same "frame of mind" as the band was during recording...

Ironically, "Goin' To The Beach" is actually on my "Surf Route 101" playlist I listen to while driving to Wildwood, NJ.

I don't know if this counts but the other day I dropped my phone while walking across my ridiculously quiet open-concept office, and Ding Dang started to play super loudly. Everyone turned to look so I picked up my phone and pretended to answer it. This inspired me to set Ding Dang as my ringtone... and then I changed it to Had to Phone Ya, because I enjoy laughing my ass off whenever my phone rings

Right now, for real... listening to Smile while cooking. Busy doing other stuff too, so running around the house whilst the cauldron bubbles. Run down to the kitchen to check on things, and find I've singed something on the stove. Mrs. O'Leary's Cow comes on. Smoke alarm goes off. Me waving dishtowels at the alarm. Christmas cards flying off the shelves. TOTAL MAYHEM. Pulse slowly returning to normal now...

Not my first time flying but this'll be me in about a half an hour:) Think maybe I'll give the Sail Plane Song a spin while I'm up in the air, too! Might avoid Loop De Loop though in case of turbulence. After last night's "Fire" incident I don't want to tempt fate, lol!
