Looks to be far enough south of Osaka that it shouldn't affect this evenings show in Osaka. Has anyone heard from Woodstock ??

Yeah I'm fine! It only really affected the epicenter down by where I used to live. I'm ending my trip in Fukuoka actually...
But I'm fine. So is Brian

That ain't nothing here in Japan!
In fact, the only reason why I even know it happened was that it was in the newpaper here.

Glad you are ok. I read there were at least nine fatalities. Stay safe.

Another quake this evening (UK time). Let's hope that's the end of it.

Matt, Al, and Mary Ann Jardine have all reported feeling the second quake while they were staying in a high-rise hotel. Everyone is said to be OK.

Brian has posted on his FB page his sympathy for those affected in Japan. He's fine.

Thanks for that news, DebbieKL. Glad Brian, Al, Blondie and the band are ok.
Some incredible photos of rescues are being released. A moving photo of a group of rescuers carrying an 8 month-old baby girl out of the rubble, ran on yahoo, after being trapped for six hours and was reunited with her family.
There have been landslides, and watches posted for tsunamis.
Stay safe, Woodstock. You were our eyes and ears for those shows.

The second earthquake was a lot more serious--seems that the first one was a precursor to the second.
That said, I haven't felt either earthquake here in Osaka. Kumamoto is in central Kyushu (large island) and Osaka is in central Honshu (huge island), so they are very far from each other.
