Anyone seen this yet?  The Bottom Line show from 1981 is coming officially it appears.  Apologies if someone beat me to it... I didn't see it posted anywhere yet.

I'd seriously question the legality of this release.

I'm seeing a ton of radio broadcasts suddenly showing up (or being sold) as "legitimate releases."

From the Byrds alone... concerts from 1968(Avalon Ballroom), 1971 (at a college), 2 from McGuinn, Clark & Hillman (1978) and one from McGuinn/Hillman (1980).

This is somewhat confusing ! It only came out on CD a couple of months back, was discontinued, and now reappears in new packaging !! What's goin' on ??!!

Different label? Could be an alt recording of the FM broadcast. Quality can only be an improvement on the previous release… I'd hope…

The byrds  played a double bill with the beach boys in November 1971. I always thought that would have been a great show to see.  Though the audience only wanted oldies and really gave the bbs a bad time that night when they insisted on playing most of their current album surfs up.

Is this a US release? The earlier one was in the UK. I'm going to pick it up this time!

There's also a grey area set (3 or 4 CDs… I forget already!) of the last nights at the Fillmore 1971, under the artist Albert King's name but it also includes several other artists including the BBs' set which was recently released as a single CD.  I'd quite like to know whether that might also be a different recording, as I think it's on a different label.

Apologies for going slightly OT but while we're talking grey area CDs…

Double disc set from an Eagles 1976 radio broadcast also due. Now, there's NO WAY Henley would allow that to happen...

I picked up the Beach Boys at the Filmore last week in HMV.  Got home and realised I had it already!  It's been a while since I listened to it.

Gotta admit that the quality is better than I'd expected. Not outstanding, mind, and the off-mic stuff is very frustrating.
