That's a UK reissue, from the eighties. Mono, I think.

Does anyone know what this is?
It's Pet Sounds. A Beach Boys album from the 60's.

I have been dubbed Mr. Pet Sounds and Mr. Country Love by polite and honored board member Smile Brian. I hope I live up to those esteemed titles.

As AGD said, UK mono budget release. There was a few came out in this series and they are well regarded. Similar to the Capitol green labels.

Top corner of album back cover says "stereo." This one also says Stereo but is Mono (apart from Wouldn't it Be Nice). http://www.discogs.com/Beach-Boys-Pet-Sounds/release/1814284

It cannot become obsolete. It will continue to be a source of outstanding sound reproduction, providing the finest monophonic performance from any phonograph." A great comprehensive disclaimer.
