I think Beach Boys fans are among the luckiest in the world when it comes to getting access to session recordings (one way or another), to the point that they can be hard to sort through.  I'd love to see some Top How Many Ever You Feel Like Picking list!

I love the Heroes & Villains Fade re-recording, love that music, love Carl singing over it, love the vibe of the session!

I love the Smiley Smile 'Wind Chimes' - there's a harpsichord (?) solo piece which is just stunning, plus lots of tremendous group harmonising, particularly when they're working on the fade.

Recording "Bridge to Indians" - they just can't get it right, and tempers start to flare just a bit, and it's quite funny to hear - but then in the end they nail it, double it and it's magical. There are plenty of similar moments, but that was the first one I heard and it blew me away.

That is a smashing, and highly illuminating session. Smiley SOT is great

I think my favourites are the Pet Sounds album sessions. I got the Yellow Dog boot years ago, which was my first introduction to these sessions. Very bad quality, but magical. Also love any sessions from the '65 period. Can't get enough.

The OP touched on how lucky we are to have such a wealth of sessions. The Beach Boys themselves started the ball rolling with "My Favourite Recording Sessions" (what other band ever did that?) I know it's filler, but I used to find that utterly fascinating back before I knew what a bootleg even was.

Then of course we get "Stack' o Tracks". So the Boys themselves seemed to be aware of how interesting this sort of thing is.

The sessions to The Girl From NYC really made me see the song in a new light. I've always loved the song, but I'd never really noticed that killer bass line before. Now when I listen to the song it's all I hear.

I also love the Vegetables - Ballad Insert.  One of those great Wall of Brian moments.

Couple more sessions I love:

- The horse dialog in Pet Sounds Sessions - Dog Barking Session [outtakes]

- All the different takes on Smile Sessions - Heroes & Villains: I'm in Great Shape. I think the master take is actually my least favorite!

- Smile Sessions - Wonderful [Take 3], the vocal version on the second half of it is my favorite version of the song.

Help Me Rhonda session. A classic. Murray calling Al 'sweetheart' or something like that, oh boy.

I personally love the Prayer sessions.

Also, because I don't know where to ask. But we're there every any sessions from Love You that made it to the publics ear?
Besides those two or three demos of Brian playing on the piano to the band.

Also, I love that demo of I'll Bet He's Nice.
