According to AP, Paul Mccartney has officially announced that he is starting a new supergroup called the "Beach-les" which will feature the first official "Beatles" reunion between he and Ringo Starr as well as Beach Boy memebers, Brian Wilson, Mike Love, Al Jardine, Bruce Johnston, and David Marks, the super group will also feature, Eric Clapton, Sean and Julian Lennon as well as Dhani Harrison and Zac Starkey on the Beatles side as well as Carnie and Wendy Wilson Matt Jardine and John Stamos on the Beach Boys side. They will be making a "Sgt Pepper" type super group which will have made up names and costumes, the songs that will be done live will be songs from the Beatles "Sgt Pepper", "Magical Mystery Tour" ;"Yellow Submarine" "White Album", and "Abbey road" albums as well as the Beach Boys albums "Pet Sounds" "Smile", "Smiley Smile", "Wild Honey", and "Freinds" album, according to Mccartney the opening and outro songs will be the "Sgt Pepper" into and outro, the songs in between will tell a story that the band is working on right now, there is also plans to do a new 2 cd concept album, with songs mostly by Paul Mccartney and Brian Wilson, although Mike Love has a new song written about Hawaii and Bruce has a Love song. will Lennon, Harrison, Carl and Dennis Wilson be on it? Mccartney won't say but sources close to the project say that yes they will be involved both on stage and on the upcoming cd, the source says that they are looking into the new hologram technology and yes they do have some unreleased songs from Lennon, Harrison and both Wilsons that they are planning to use for the upcoming cd. Brian Wilson had already laid down tracks for the project the last couple months and the songs are just as good as anything he ever wrote! The project should be done by the end of summer with the cd being released by Christmas and tour starting at the beginning of next year.

I'm really glad this is just a joke. This would end up being the most horrible thing ever.

The other day I was watching some old videos of The Traveling Wilburys and The Highwaymen. Those guys really seemed to enjoy each others' company. I think it's time for another one of those groups. There's still enough living legends active.

"Over the years, I've been accused of not supporting our new music from this era (67-73) and just wanting to play our hits. That's complete b.s......I was also, as the front man, the one promoting these songs onstage and have the scars to show for it."
