I believe she works in real estate, and has been quite successful.  She was super nice when I met her.  She introduced me to her friends and family when I sat down next to her at an Adam Marsland Chaos Band show.  I had spotted a free seat, and took it, not realizing it was her seat and that she had just gotten up.  But she graciously made room for me.  Very sweet lady.

what record store?  I was in Sacramento recently and noticed the record stores there (I visited a few) are much better than the ones we have here in SF & Oakland.

what record store?  I was in Sacramento recently and noticed the record stores there (I visited a few) are much better than the ones we have here in SF & Oakland.

The SF bay area has gone hip-hop. Or something.... There's barely any good record stores left. If you turn the radio on it's easy to see why. You go north or south, or follow 80 east towards Tahoe or Sacramento and the music you hear gets exponentially better.

On the subject of extended Beach Boys family, does anybody know what happened to Shawn Love throughout the years? If I remember correctly, in the Steven Gaines book it talked about her being pretty ill with cancer. But that was back in 1984-ish, right? Didn't she just pass away a few years ago? She must have had a very long battle.
