sound effects,comedy from smile

I was listening to Psychodleic (sp) sounds and was intreged by the "comedic" and sound effect aspect that is missing from BWPS..there have been rumors going around since smile was aborted that Brian was going to include sound effects and comedy skits to the album, some of which to have been rumnored to have appeared in later recordings (ala: the bullfighting sound effect from "my world fell down") again these are just rumors but there are a couple things about the Pyschodelic sounds cd and various smile outakes that are of interest to me..for examnple we have "big bag of vegatables" on hawthorn with music underneth it which makes sense with "vegetables"..now here are a couple thoughts you don't have to agree and i could be wrong but it's kind of an interesting theory. we all know about "george fell into his french horn" and a lot of people are saying it was just an outake from "surfs up" and was just kind of off the cuff, well then we also get "brian is in the micrphone" and "brian is in the paino" skits which makes me wonder if "george" inspired him to do that concept (because I'm not sure what was recorded first) OR if "george" was done on purpose because Brian wanted a joke like that,as we all know Brian or other musicians being in instrmuments/equipment was done more then once which makes me think that he was planning it.now I'm not sure what part of the album it would have been included,BUT there are a couple things that I spotted on Psychodelic sounds for example one of the most famous recordings is the smog recording,I wonder if Brian was going to use some ot it during the "air" section of the elements suite, which I'm assuming it "Wind Chimes" since that has to do with air and wind chimes is about the purity of air.also if you notice there is a recording of a basketball game could that have been meant for "I'm in great shape"? what about the Swedish frogs could they have been for H&V part 2 or could they have been for the water suite whatever song that might have been..it almost makes me wonder if Brian was going for a "jan and dean meets batman" type of concept (just more artsy and strange)where you would get a skit/sound effect or some kind of message then you would get a song..any thoughts? would it have ended up as a double LP if that were the case? just something I wanted to throw out there to get your thoughts on..thanks...

The '67 SMiLE I have always imagined, has sound effects, spoken word, and no gaps between the songs.
It's influenced my whole direction as a composer, and no one can take that away from me.
As I've said before, that is the magic of SMiLE, what could possibly be more influential than something you can only imagine?

If you want SMiLE with comedy bits, try one of the most original fanmixes: the DJ Mic Luv mix. Really fun listen. Not 'definitive', but what is? And does it matter? It flows, it's entertaining, it's creative.

My favorite fan mix by far.

I second that with "AlternateBrianWilson" as the runner-up.
