I saw it earlier today and can't seem to locate it. Anyways, the website it was on had it dated as 1976. However, Brian mentions that Eugene Landy is his former psyciotrist, and the next album is scheduled for late September. I believe the EL was fired in Nov or Dec of 1976. Which means that either Brian was saying that they had 10 songs for an album that wasn't coming out in 9 or 10 months, or this interview was actually in 1977.

Its on video, and he talks about 'new' songs My Solution and Hey Little Tomboy. A familiar part when he talks about Fire.

Anyways, either somebody put up a link to the original topic, or we can discuss it here.

For those having trouble viewing the clip, the video can be downloaded directly: http://www.globalimageworks.com/media/clip/1874_23.mov.

I suspect the long delays some are having before the embedded movie will play are due to it not being configured to stream, meaning the file has to download in its entirety before it'll play.

For a direct link to any of the videos on that site, just 'view source' in your browser and search for '.mov'- this'll give you the path to the video, which you can then paste into the address bar.

Well, it appears that the second link has sent me back to this topic.

I have been able to watch the videos, but I was hoping to find the original topic that I read just yesterday.

some great ones indeed!!

This one for example.

Daryl and Dennis Dragon, Ed Carter, Blondie (on drums !), Ricky, and Carl rehearsing, I assume 1972.

Man, I wish there was sound on this one. What are they playing?

Is it the instrumental version of My Solution Brian is talking about or is it or the one made in 1970?

Brian on why he loves God Only Knows: "Because Paul McCartney said it was his favourite song"
