Myra, if you're told by several people here it's fake, that means it's fake. You said yourself that there's "a lot of phonies out there pretending to be a celebrity". Then that's settled. Unfriend him, what's the big deal.

I don't always have to go what people say to get the right answer although it can help.  Many people giving same information and advice can be wrong too.  I take what other people say into account and then I use my own judgment.

Nope. The situation is different with Brian Wilson.

I was very convinced mainly due to the timing of the conversation and the events that take place.  Why would someone want to waste time pretending to be someone else especially a celebrity? 

I received a Facebook request from Brian Wilson last month. I don't know if his Facebook page real or fake. Although I accepted the request, I am trying to take it with a grain of lot salt.  I was thinking about reporting it but I didn't want to be hasty at this time.  I know there are a lot of phonies out there pretending to be a celebrity.  So I'm going to continue to observe.

I'm 57 but I still look and feel like a teenager. I believe it's not Brian's ago, but his condition. After all, Al does look spunky at 74.

Ike and Tina Turner were also in the line up.  The Beach Boys performed after Ike and Tina.  Brian didn't see Ike but saw Tina. Brian said he felt intimidated because they were white boys from a white suburb performing in front of the black kids ready to groove. Brian heard R&B on the radio, but never seen one in person.

The Beach Boys at one time performed in front of an audience full of black kids at the Ritchie Valens Memorial Dance in Long Beach, Ca. There was barely a white kid there.

Good vibrations was psychedelic R&B.

  It definitely could have been.

  Chuck Berry obviously meant more to The Beach Boys than any white rock & rollers of the 50s. Especially Carl and Mike.

I was watching a program that highlights young musicians. One segment involved a black family band from the Wakefiekd section of the Bronx in New York City. They play rock music which I believe was heavy metal or grunge rock. Because they were black, however, people expected them to play only rap or r&b music.

I'm African American and listen to all kinds of music. I have all of the Pet Sounds tracks except for the two instrumentals.  In the Bronx, all I hear are hip hop and Latin music on the streets. I commented to my co-worker that I would like to hear a Barry Manilow or an Elton John song in the Bronx.

I bought a stripe shirt like theirs from Urban Outfitters. Similar to what they wore on the Ed Sullivan Show performing Wendy and I get around.

I like the stripe shirts during their earlier period. But things change with the time.

I went to his book signing in New York last night. He loved the Pet Sounds t-shirt I was wearing.

I dreamed that Brian Wilson and I started a deep conversation at a party. It was great mingling with Brian. However, I was getting scared because I thought Melinda might be around.  So I withdrew myself from Brian even though I didn't really want to.  Then I woke up from the dream. 😳

Oh boy. Murry was something else. No wonder Brian was afraid of his dad.

How many autobiographies does Brian have?
