I heard it ('Shoot the Curl') too, at Walgreens! I thought I was imagining it...I've never heard the Honeys being played in a public place before.
I heard 'Salt Lake City' like ten times over the station at work (in the lobby of a very nice hotel).

I listen to it more than I listen to any other record, including Pet Sounds. Although I still consider PS to be number one overall. Sunflower has always been my second favorite record of all time. A very close second, actually.

Nope, you're definitely not alone! 'Endless Harmony' is what got me 'into' the BB. I saw it on VH1 back in '98 and that was my introduction to the band. Big props to Alan for creating such a wonderful film even though he had to cut out a lot of 'key elements'. I owe my obsession with the Beach Boys to that one film.

Yeah...I don't see 'American Family' on Netflix...just 'American Band'. Although the other movie, 'Summer Dreams', is there.

'American Band' is a documentary-type film with some great music clips of the band (and a lot of staged interviews). Definitely worth watching though!

I'm not his biggest fan, but I really did enjoy a lot of Michael Jackson's music. Growing up in the 80s and early 90s, it was hard to avoid it. It is the music of my childhood. RIP, it is a sad time for music history...even if you aren't a fan of his, you can't deny the influence he had on so many artists.

It is a decent book, I really enjoyed it. Definitely a must for any fans bookshelf.

I'm truly excited that there are so many young BB fans on this board. I was 15 when I 'discovered' them, now I'm 26, and I can honestly say that enjoying their music has been one of the most enriching things in my life.

I don't mind him. I wouldn't say I greatly like or adore him in any way, but he's a genuine Beach Boys fan, and I don't think anyone can dispute that fact. He's talented in his own way, even though I'm not terribly a big fan of his. He's a decent actor. I enjoyed 'Full House' as a kid.

ok, this might sound like the vaguest request ever.... 

does anyone have that photo of Brian and Mike sitting on a bench giving each other the craziest looks? It's black n white, 60's vintage i think, they're outside a house (maybe bellagio) with the camera facing Brian. I saw it ages ago and loved it, but obivously 'brian mike bench' doesn't get you far in google images

I saw Mike and Bruce & band a few weeks ago and it was pretty much perfect. I have no complaints about the intro, or any other part of the song. AND it was raining on them, and they still got it right.
