Maybe we could get Robin Pecknold (Fleet Foxes) on board? It seems that he is a big fan of the Sunflower/Surf's Up-era. He even mentioned Feel Flows in the liner notes for the first Fleet Foxes album. He's very active on Instagram and seems to read messages by fans. And he got a big and active community following him.

In my option it's import to raise the awareness of this dilemma. At some point the band or members of the band have to comment publicily. The sooner the better as this topic could cause a lasting rift inside the fan community. I thought it's all about harmony...

Or how about Sean O'Hagen of the The High Llamas? I'd say he was not only a fan of that era but expressed it quite well in his writing. Hawaii anyone?

Br4ian has certainly been on my mind as well. Personally, I hope he's "busy doin' nothin'". I'm sure we all wish he was working on some new material but if he's not or doesn't feel like it, so be it. Hope he's getting some well deserved rest and is keeping healthy, that's all. 

Imagine if, ten years from now, Mike Love is the lone living band member. Think about how he would then be able to further twist the band’s history to enhance his own importance without opposition. It makes me nauseous.

Hopefully, that won't happen. I can't think of a more insidious nightmare than Mike Love outliving Brian or Al.

This Clown School dropout has incredibly well tuned his skills at making a complete fool of himself with slop like this. And on top of it all has a video of himself behind him. His voice sounds like he's got a clam stuck in his throat and I would think Stamos would know better than to associate himself with the most hated clown the world of music has ever witnessed. 

The fake Beach Boys need to be boycotted. They're sending a crappy message that they don't care about the health or well being of their audience. The being problem is that Mike Love cannot stand being at home for more than 2 days in a row and is hooked on whatever adulation he can get from applause or being the "man in charge".
What a pathetic "waste of human flesh" he is. He needs absolutely no more money (has too much anyway), and why anyone would be the least bit interested in seeing this clown is beyond logic. Seeing that he doesn't give a sh*t about the fans, his band and himself, no tears will be shed by me if he contracts the virus. Yeah, rock on, Mike, you dope. 

Mike Love's fake Beach Boys act is not worth dying for. And he's a complete asshole for doing a show. I hope he and the band get quarantined for 2 or more weeks.

I would think that Mike Love would be somewhat concerned about not only his own health, but the health of his band and roadies, etc. I mean what if they perform and some or even one becomes infected and possibly passes away. Even more ironic would be Mike Love meeting the same fate. What a moronic reason to become possibly exposed not to mention those in the audience. Seems no one, including Mike Love, seems to care about the consequences of such an event.

I've gotta say I think you guys are somewhat delusional. There is no way Brian is going to do anything. I think one of the reasons he may be happy, if indeed he is happy is because he doesn't have to tour and he can stay home and watch TV.  Brian is old and I'm sure very tired. I'm 65 and I'm exhausted sometimes. I can only guess what it's like to be closing in on 80.

You still have time to change that all around. I'm 7 1/2 years older than you and while I can't do what I used to do, I'm doing my best to not be exhausted and work out three or four days a week, take care of 2 acres and have a part time job. I wish I were 65 again! Brian is 5 years older than I am and I'm amazed that he can do what he does. He's an inspiration, indeed!

Uh, I'm wondering that if everyone is "in tital"  of his(?) opinions, which is supposed to be what this board is mainly built on, then why do you object to GF's opinion that he's offering?
