Just don't see how anyone that enjoys the Beach Boys can dislike Kokomo
This. The melody is great, and when the chorus kicks in you're treated to hearing Al in the harmony stack with Carl sending each chorus off on a high note (no pun intended). It would've been great if Brian was involved and interesting to think if he would've had a hand in any of the vocal arranging just by being present. It's cool to listen to the Spanish version every so often to hear Brian in the chorus. Also, as it's been said many times on this board, it put the 'Boys name back out there and introduced them to a new generation. Anyone here get into the group by way of Kokomo?

1. Wipe Out 2. Wipe Out (5 minute extended mix) 3. Wipe Out (12 minute disco mix) 4. Wipe Out (15 minute trance mix) 5. Wipe Out (24 minute Pink Floyd 'Echoes' mix) 6. Wipe Out (instrumental mix) 7. Wipe Out (a cappella mix) 8. Wipe Out (mono mix)
9. Wipe Out (John Stamos vocal mix) 10. Wipe Out (5.1 Surround Mix) 11. Wipe Out (Quad 4.0 mix) The legendary Quad mix. Thought it was just a "rumor." Isn't there a legit "waves remix" of Wipeout on one of the Dumb Angel Rarities or is that for another song?

Do we have or know of any recorded video or audio of the BB in concert with Brian in the 90's?
There's audio of an April 1995 BB gig in Las Vegas with Brian floating around. No others are coming to mind at the moment... Edit: Also, the gig(s) he attended relating to Stars & Stripes in 1996, Little Deuce Coupe on Letterman and the miscellaneous performances of "Fun, Fun, Fun" with Status Quo (not concerts, I know), and I want to say he might of been at Farm Aid with them at some point in the 90's but I'm probably wrong on that.

Does anyone remember (or have the video of) the clip of Brian and Carl sitting on bench discussing SJB? Carl had a guitar and they were discussing and demonstrating the different guitar parts. I haven't seen this in ages and would love to see it again. I seem to recall it might of been a bonus feature on one of the Forrest Gump releases, but I'm not totally sure on that.

Bruce used to be a full, voting member of BRI, but relinquished his vote in the 70s. However, he's still officially a BB for all other purposes.
When did Bruce get full, voting member of BRI-status, and when did Al get such status? Off the top of my head, I think Al was made a voting member in 1967, but I'm not totally positive.

Do you think we see additional October, November and/or December dates? There were a good number of markets missed on the first leg. It seems a little odd if they were to do a second leg that they have only released a couple additional dates, instead of having a bigger announcement for multiple new dates.
I hope they make it down to FL, but also make good on the aborted U.K. tour for those fans too.

Komera - you didn't start this information sharing. Not your fault. First - "Then-brilliant Brian" - calculated to be unbridled offense to Brian's intelligence and creative ability. Every word is a bullet with him, and abuse of his literary gift. More leaks seem to be springing on his boat. He doesn't appear to want an open conversation but prefers to launch barbs when it suits him. This is beneath him. Second - SOS - "as it is supposed to be sung by Ray Charles?" What does that mean? He certainly performed it during the 25th show in Hawaii. Is this a direct diss to Carl, Blondie, Brian, or whomever else performed the lead? Why these insults now? If he hasn't seen the film, he might reserve judgment until he has. Otherwise, his opinion is uninformed. And just not credible. If he has a problem with credits, let him go litigate it (like everyone else) with solid proof in a court rather than whining on twitter. Maybe he can join this board, just like Brian Wilson. FWIW, that description is part of the YouTube video he linked, not Van Dyke's own words. Still, I'm in no way defending him, and think he should shut up!

I find it impossible to believe that this hasn't been mentioned anywhere yet, so i feel i must have either missed it (although, if this were the case, the discussion would be far from over by now) or i must be missing something, probably something really obvious that i'm overlooking. Maybe i was deceived, fell for some trick. Did i imagine it? Was my own mind playing tricks on me? Did i fill in the blanks somehow and convince myself i heard it? Or did it really happen, and it's just that i missed a big, prior news announcement at some point? Could this possibly be old news? Am i that out of the loop? Are there not snippets of isolated Good Vibrations vocals in the movie?! I am certain i heard a little of Carl's lead and portions of the chorus. Isolated. No backing track. No aural signs of digital extraction. What the hell is up with this? I demand an explanation.
And Mike's "gotta keep those lovin' good vibrations...." too
